Welcome to Don Hasemeyer Photography website.

On my Blog page, you will find stories “Behind the Photo” on what inspired me to take the photograph or how the photograph was taken.  I am hoping if you hear the story about the photograph, it will help you understand the photograph better.

I am based out of far Northern California.  This area is rural and does not have any large communities in the area.  This leads to mostly landscape photography.  Also because of the rural area, there is plenty of dark skies which helps in astro-landscape photography.

Although the Blog will only show a few photographs, you can find more of my photographs on either my Facebook page (Don Hasemeyer Photography),  Instagram, or Flickr pages.  You can access these pages through the top menu.
